Auspiciously, this six-day retreat unfolds in harmony with a full lunar eclipse, visible in the night sky from our perch between the rainforest and the pacific ocean.

Held by the cosmos above, the breathtaking land that surrounds, a kindred community of other deep seekers and by elemental ritual and ceremony, we open a space for tenderness, expression and nourishment.  We gather to soften what has been held tight, to honor what has been quietly asking for our attention beneath the rhythms and expectations of daily life and to return home to our ancient knowing.

Through medicine ceremony, stillness, movement, council, breathwork, creative ritual, and an ongoing devotion to slowness, we welcome the eclipse as a true threshold. A moment when the Earth whispers to the moon and we attune to the language of soul. 

About CÓSMIKA Sanctuary

Nestled in the jungle treetops a few minutes away from the beach, Cósmika is a majestic private homestead. It is cosmic in its reach, earthy in its grounding. Its beauty is spacious and unadorned, raw yet alive.

Cósmika embodies the dance of opposites: the structure of concrete and arches, the flow of light and air. Masculine bones and feminine breath. Rustic elegance and timeless grace.

THE ARC

The journey unfolds through an elemental journey.

Guided by the wisdom of the elements, we move through a sequence of thresholds that support grounding, release, listening, renewal, and integration.

Earth grounds and steadies.

Metal clarifies, cuts cleanly, and lets go.

Water softens, listens, and restores flow.

Wood awakens vitality and invites renewal.

Fire ignites, alchemizes, and brings what is true into form.

Across the week, we pass through these elemental gates with care and intention. Each participant is invited to move at their own pace, honoring their own depth, timing, and inner truth. Nothing is forced. The work unfolds in right relationship with the body, the land, and the moment.

THE FLOW & RHYTHM

Mornings | Embodiment, Grounding, and Opening the Senses

Each morning begins with the rising sun and optional practices that gently anchor you into your body and the land: Qigong, soft movement, and breathwork. These sessions support nervous system regulation and invite emotional clarity.

Mornings & afternoons | Inquiry, Ritual, and Soulwork

Afternoons offer a blend of intentional exchange and experiential practices. Through council, freeform movement practice, creative expression, deep ecology, ritual, we explore what wants to be shed, revealed, reclaimed, or renewed.

As the journey deepens, our witnessing of the full lunar eclipse beneath a striking, star-lit sky invites us to meet what has been hidden from our sight.  

Midweek, a medicine journey marks another threshold moment: a time to allow the personal myth to be moved by the cosmic alignment of earth, sun & moon.

Evenings | Integration, Softness, and Return

Evenings invite restoration and gentle integration. You may find yourself under the stars, in a tea ceremony, making a soul collage, or in poetic reflection. 

These rituals and simple pleasures help the psyche metabolize the day’s insights and prepare the body for deeper harvest and restoration.

*All practices are framed with trauma-informed care.

Day 1

  • 12-4pm Check-in

  • Opening Circle

  • Landing Ritual at Sunset

Days 2

  • 8am: light breakfast

  • 10:30-12:30: Ecstatic Dance + beach time

  • Noon to 6pm: Tico Lunch, free time + Sunset at the beach

  • 6-7pm: Dinner at COSMIKA - catering from Ventanita

  • 7-9pm: Orient to your Soul Mythic Story

Day 3

  • 7am: Qi Gong practice

  • 8am: light breakfast

  • 9-11am: Surf & Ocean medicine  

  • 12pm: Lunch - tacos

  • 1-4pm: Ceremony Prep

  • 5pm sunset

  • 6pm dinner - buddha bowls

  • 7pm: story-time around the fire in the spirit the eclipse and what it means for each one.

Day 4

  • 4am-11: Eclipse medicine ceremony  

  • 12pm: light lunch

  • 1-4pm Quiet integrative afternoon

  • 5pm sunset

  • 6-7pm: Light Dinner, followed with quiet time


Day 5

  • 7am Movement + Stillness

  • 8am Breakfast

  • 9am: Beach medicine or Morning Surf

  • 11-1pm: Integration

  • 1-3pm: Lunch & Free Time

  • 3-6pm: Guided Creative Integration Practice

  • 6-7pm: Dinner at La Catedral


Day 6: completion

  • 7am Morning practice

  • 8am Breakfast

  • 9am Closing Circle

  • 11am Departures or optional extra days of integration at Cosmika.

YOUR GUIDES

NAOMI JASON

A visionary, community leader and mentor, Naomi is the founder of Dance Temple, the Imaginelle community theatre project, and the Imaginelle Mystery School for Embodied Transformation.  With 15 years of experience tending community through embodied ritual, she is dedicated to empowering community leaders to step into their full, impactful service, so that we can support our people in this time of great change.

Deeply rooted in the wisdom of the earth, Naomi is a farmer as well as a dance facilitator, medical qigong therapist, ritualist, dancer, choreographer, and music curator.  She welcomes you into liminal spaces, where you can access aspects of your being longing to be expressed and witnessed and to claim the path of your soul's true calling. MAGALIE BONNEAU

Magalie is a mother, a guide, and a mystic at heart.
Her work is rooted in lived experience and a lifelong devotion to embodiment, creativity, and inner coherence. A certified coach for over twenty years, she is trained in Hakomi and Internal Family Systems, among other modalities. Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, relational approach.

Magalie weaves ceremony, medicine work, somatic awareness, and shadow work as pathways of remembering belonging and restoring inner coherence. She has founded communities, sailed oceans solo, and spent more than two decades accompanying others through meaningful thresholds of transformation. She is the founder of Dancing Without Borders.

THE FOOD

At CÓSMIKA, food is experienced as ritual. From the fruit trees and herb terraces, from the garden tended alongside chickens and bees, each meal is an offering. Clean, grounding, and thoughtfully made to support balance in the body and the inner work unfolding here. This is nourishment for both body and spirit, inviting a quiet sense of harmony within you and in the world around you.

  • 6 days / 5 nights of accommodation are paid separately based on preferences (unless local).

ACCOMMODATION

Tierra & Oceana

2 rooms + 2 baths (sleeps 1-3 per room)

Features 2 private suites that include a king or Queen and two daybeds.

Each room has a sitting area, full bathroom and balcony overlooking the jungle and ocean with panoramic views.

Luna

1 room w/ AC + shared baths (sleeps 1-3)

Features a private suite that include a king or Full bed and two daybeds.

This suite has a separate meditation / yoga area, full bathroom and balcony overlooking the jungle and ocean with panoramic views.

Cielo

Sleep under the stars. Each camping spot is protected by a canopy of trees.

You must bring your own tent.

Local commuters

We offer a limited number of commuter slots to support our local community. Commuter’s enjoy all the amenities of the retreat but stay off-site and are responsible for getting to and from Cosmika each day.

Each participant must cover the retreat fee, plus accommodation of their choice. Spaces are intentionally limited to 10 participants.

  • Absolutely! Sharing this transformational week with someone close to you is such a gift.

  • Yes. Outside of intentional ceremony held within the retreat container, the experience is substance-free in order to support clarity, safety, and presence.

  • Yes. The retreat is open to people of all genders. We simply ask that everyone who joins is willing to participate in a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment.

  • We welcome participants who have an existing foundation in mindfulness, self-inquiry, or spiritual practice. Prior ceremony experience is not required. The vision call will help us explore whether this retreat is aligned with where you are in your journey.

  • Possibly. This depends on the nature and stage of your condition and the level of support you require. We will explore this together during the vision call to ensure the retreat container is appropriate for your needs.

  • This is an intimate gathering, with a maximum of 10 participants, allowing for depth, presence, and careful tending of the space.

  • It may be, depending on the stage of pregnancy and individual health considerations. Please share this during your vision call so we can thoughtfully assess whether the retreat is supportive and safe for you.

  • Yes. The retreat is guided with a trauma-informed, compassionate approach, and facilitators are attentive to emotional safety and pacing. At the same time, this is not a clinical or therapeutic container for processing acute trauma, and we encourage participants to have ongoing support resources in place as needed.

  • We understand that life can be unpredictable. Cancellations made more than 45 days before the retreat start date may be applied as a credit toward a future offering or transferred to another participant, minus a $200 administrative fee. Credits must be used by the end of the same calendar year in which they are issued.
    Cancellations made within 45 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable, as we are fully committed to retreat costs and preparation at that point.
    Even if you think you could never, ever imagine canceling your participation in this amazing retreat, we recommend that you purchase a cancellation/travel insurance policy to protect your investment. >>insuremytrip.com is a company that has a multitude of policies to choose from, including a “cancel for any reason” rider option.

  • You will need a valid passport to travel to Costa Rica, but you will not need a Visa if you are coming from the US, Canada, or the European Union. No additional vaccines are recommended. If you’re planning to spend time off-site, you may want to get some Costa Rican Colones, although US dollars are widely accepted in Nosara.

  • Yes. Within walking distance you can access Spa Services & Wellness Longevity Clinic services (Acupuncture Naturopathic Treatments, Infra-red sauna, Ozone Sauna, Deep Body Massage, PEMF treatment, Sound Healing Table) at additional cost.
